I feel like my life has been work, uni, sleep and repeat all over again. So getting a day to spend with your best friend was just what I needed. After deliberating for about an hour whether we should go out or not because earlier in the morning the weather was just so crap, but I am so glad we decided to head out. The sun came out and it was a perfect day not to wear a jacket.

This year I spent Mother's day with my best friends. Sadly my mum chose to work instead of spending the day with her family, but hey, she is saving to travel next year so I don't blame her! I would of done the same thing! 
We headed out to Bicentennial Park for a little stroll around before meeting up with another friend in Milson's Point for the monthly Kirribilli markets. We also decided to be spontaneous and walk across the Harbour Bridge and all through The Rocks and down into Circular Quay. Although I have lived in Sydney my whole entire life, this was the first time doing that walk and I am truly amazed at how pretty Sydney is! 

On another topic, this striped tee by Bassike is my absolute favourite tee ever. I literally wear it to death and I have to keep reminding myself that I should change out of it as I do have other tops.

Steve Madden x Nine West

Recently Steve Madden and Nine West held their blogger's preview for their new collections for Spring Summer '13. Walking into the Penthouse suite of the Establishment Hotel, desks were piled with shoes, bags and of course, cupcakes!

Steve Madden's collection draws inspiration from the 90's surfer girl to the modernist movement. His collection features 90s inspired footwear, boots that can be worn all year round, metal plate accents and sneakers embellished with studs and zippers. 

Nine West's collection features kitten heels in shades of cream, rose & lilac, however the collection also transports the modern female to balmy Marrakesh nights and exotic bohemian adventures with Morrocan inspired prints and beading.

Both collections are due to drop in stores from June through to August, so definitely keep an eye out!
